VML is seeking a part-time Data Analyst Intern to join our team in Guatemala. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our business teams to create insightful dashboards, prepare reports, and help transform data into actionable business insights. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and technical skills in a supportive business environment while learning how data drives decision-making in areas such as marketing performance, financial planning, or customer insights, while using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
Requisitos:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related quantitative field (3+ years completed).
• Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
• Demonstrated strong algorithmic and logical thinking abilities, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Basic coding abilities or experience, particularly with SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Experience creating compelling charts, graphs, and visual representations of data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Professional English proficiency (written and verbal).
Nice-to-Have:
• English language certification (TOEFL, IELTS, ELASH, Cambridge, etc.).
• Stronger coding skills
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
• Experience with presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
• Previous coursework or projects involving business analytics, statistics, or data modeling.
• A keen interest in business metrics, KPIs, and their impact on organizational performance.
• A portfolio or examples of personal projects demonstrating data analysis or coding skills.
