GEScoach is an educational chatbot created from the study “The Impact of a Chatbot Working as an Assistant in a Course for Supporting Student Learning and Engagement” conducted by De La Roca et al. This conversational agent (also identified as chatbots) is designed to enhance student learning and engagement in university courses by assisting in the resolution of specific learning activities.
The study examines how GEScoach can assist students in completing tasks and analyzes the factors that influence students’ intentions to use conversational agents and their perceived usefulness. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), students’ attitudes toward this digital learning tool were measured, revealing high acceptance and appreciation for its effectiveness.
