The Doctor in Technologies will be a world-class researcher, in addition to the competencies of the graduates from Galileo University; the student has the following specific competencies:

  • Performs research accepted by the international scientific community on information technology issues.
  • Work on international research projects.
  • Designs, directs and implements new research projects of global interest.
  • Knows and uses procedures to take advantage of internal and external financing.
  • Teaches high level subjects to pre and post-graduate students.
  • Advises doctoral candidates.
  • PhD students hope to get the degree to teach at a university level and continue their contributions to science

 

Methodology

The Ph.D. is a worldwide research program. This program consists of two areas: a masterful area of about 360 hours and the other one is a research area (about 2200 hours).

The master courses only serve to give a solid base to the student so he can be able to have a high-level investigation, the curriculum of each student can vary according to the research subject that the student carries out.

All the research is supported by high level foreign academic institutions, according to the modality of the doctorate, it is necessary to make a stay abroad with a duration that can vary from 3 weeks to 18 months.

For this doctorate we have the alliance of Telecom SudParis, a public university of France, considered one of the most prestigious in technology, engineering and research in that country.

The University of Pau and Pays of l’Adour is a multi-local campus and is considered the third largest university in southwestern France (after Bordeaux and Toulouse), with about 12,000 students. With orientation and prestige in science, technology, economics, administration.

The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a house of higher studies with a history and trajectory difficult to match. Considered one of the most prestigious universities in Spain and the Spanish-speaking world for its academic quality, research and focus on science and technology.

Graduation Requirements

 

To obtain the title of Doctor in Information Technologies, the graduate must:

  • Complete the courses and activities of the career with a general average of 70 points or more, or a certificate of courses approved according to the subject in question.
  • Be solvent about his/her situation as a student and his/her expenses.
  • To have his/her complete file.
  • To successfully pass the final Thesis exam
